About Me

I'm a Designer

Hi, I’m Kaylie, a Master’s student at NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering focusing on the crossroads of technology and design. My passion is building adaptive gameplay systems and cinematic experiences where AI-driven NPCs and worlds don’t just exist, they respond, evolve, and engage with the player. What sets my work apart is that I approach design holistically: I bring together technical programming expertise with creative storytelling to create experiences that are not only functional, but deeply immersive and emotionally resonant. Right now, I’m developing my thesis project, Veilbound, a game that pushes these ideas forward by crafting a dynamic, player-driven world where systems adapt to behavior and narrative unfolds interactively. Through this, I’m honing skills in production pipelines, prototyping, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
